I’ll definitely let you know how it works out, though I will say I probably won’t get a to work with it in a large team, and I may not be able to take the time to do check in gauntlets or bug integration stuff. We’ll see. I have a few places where I want to extend Mercurial to potentially track more metadata about commits, but I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to get around to it.

I’ll be very interested to hear your conclusions after you’ve had a few months with DVCS. I’m interested in it for all the versions you mentioned and afraid of it for all the OTHER versions you mentioned. For that reason, I’m happy to let you be my guinea pig.
