Hi Paul!

You didn't email me but I'll actually email you back. For the reference of eevryone else (and you if you check back here) here's my advice:
To start, check out the IGDA.org forums for Breaking In which are here:
http://www.igda.org/Forums/forumdisplay.php?s=f21432cdadf57ef5198709fb2d9c6869&forumid=44

Read EVERYTHING in the FAQ and all of the stickies. Then if you have more questions, feel free to post them to that forum or the Programming and Technology forum and someone will get back to you. Good Luck!

Hello,
My name is Paul Suddaby, I am an 11th grade High Scool student in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I am very interested in game design/programing and wish to learn more about it. I am currently in the process of learning C++ with the help of various books. I e-mail you to ask you a simple question. I am very passionate about learning programing before I reach the uniersity level, but am having many difficulties finding a way to accomplish this. Therefore, I was wondering if you, or anyone else, would have advice, help, references, or maybe even just someone to talk to about the subject of learning video game programing pre-university.

Thank you very much for your time.
